1980 - for the first time in the history of Western Union revenues from money transfers exceeded the income from the telegraph service. In 1933, by the Western Union Company were invented "singing telegrams". Before transition to remittances Western Union company rendered services on sphere of cable communication. In 1849, Selden and Sibley, the founders of the future Western Union, created the New York State Printing Telegraph Company. Western Union for more than 130 years provides money transfer services to its customers.
