In 1988, the company undertook a massive reorganization in response to rapidly changing business conditions. Company name was changed from Western Union Telegraph Co. to Western Union Corp. 1980 - for the first time in the history of Western Union revenues from money transfers exceeded the income from the telegraph service. Western Union has several divisions, with products such as person-to-person money transfer, money orders, business payments and commercial services. In 1935, Western Union has put into operation first intercity fax communication. The Western Union Company is a leader in global payment services 1970 - a new service called Western Union made so that the time in all of American civil services was the same.
