In the 30's of the twentieth century, Western Union has become the world's largest telegraph company. In 1860 the U.S. Congress arranged among the telegraph companies a competition to create a national line. The winner was Western Union. Western Union has several divisions, with products such as person-to-person money transfer, money orders, business payments and commercial services. In 1866, Sibley ordered the engineers to develop a Western Union telegraph system of stock quotes in real time. Western Union for more than 130 years provides money transfer services to its customers.
