In 1866, Sibley ordered the engineers to develop a Western Union telegraph system of stock quotes in real time. By 1861 Western Union telegraph lines entangled the whole America. After a century money transfers have become a major source of income for Western Union. The first offices of company were located in the Reynolds Arcade building in Rochester, New York.
