Due to regulatory requirements and consumer demand in Germany and France, MoneyGram opened company stores in both countries. International company MoneyGram has expanded its service capabilities of online money transfers to UK residents. Money transfers via MoneyGram system can be used as by bank customers, and by people who do not have bank accounts. AgentConnect allows MoneyGram agents to integrate the money transfer service with their internal security and training processes. As part of the 2008 Recapitalization, our wholly owned subsidiary, MoneyGram Payment Systems Worldwide, Inc., issued Goldman Sachs $500.0 million of senior secured second lien notes with a 10-year maturity.
