Millions of people around the world trust MoneyGram, as the wired transfer system provides its customers with a reliable, fast and inexpensive service. In the city of San Salvador representatives of MoneyGram and Citibank announced a new regional project, which will provide money transfer services in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. MoneyGram launched a new in-person bill payment service which will be delivered through agents in their domestic network, giving consumers an easy, low-cost method to pay their bills. To 284 thousands of service points has grown global network of MoneyGram agent offices in the 2nd quarter of 2012 due to India, Spain and Africa, thus its growth was 16%. MoneyGram financial results were driven by money transfer business, which delivered more than 40 percent growth in transaction volume.
