International company MoneyGram has expanded its service capabilities of online money transfers to UK residents. In MoneyGram were added or converted new currencies in an additional 29 countries during the past year, providing consumers with a wide array of currency payout options. As part of the 2008 Recapitalization, our wholly owned subsidiary, MoneyGram Payment Systems Worldwide, Inc., issued Goldman Sachs $500.0 million of senior secured second lien notes with a 10-year maturity. Money orders and official checks by MoneyGram continue their steady performance and expanded line of bill payment services deliver excellent results. MoneyGram financial results were driven by money transfer business, which delivered more than 40 percent growth in transaction volume.
