Money transfer system MoneyGram International and the second largest bank in China - Bank of China, announced the start of service of MoneyGram at 200 offices Bank of China in Beijing. In due time MoneyGram separated from the Western Union and became an independent brand. Technology continues to play a key role in increasing MoneyGram transaction speed, automating and streamlining processes, and creating new functionality. In the city of San Salvador representatives of MoneyGram and Citibank announced a new regional project, which will provide money transfer services in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Commission income on remittances and other revenues of MoneyGram in the 2nd quarter 2012 increased by 10% compared to the same period last year and 13% in the base currency.
