On March 7, 2011, MoneyGram entered into a Recapitalization Agreement with THL, as the holder of all of the B Stock, and Goldman Sachs, as the holder of all of the B-1 Stock. International company MoneyGram has expanded its service capabilities of online money transfers to UK residents. The benefits of money transfers by MoneyGram: no fixup (the recipient may request payment at any MoneyGram agent in the country of receiving). MoneyGram launched a new in-person bill payment service which will be delivered through agents in their domestic network, giving consumers an easy, low-cost method to pay their bills. MoneyGram hired compliance officers in many of their global offices to ensure compliance with regulations of specific countries or regions.
