International company MoneyGram has expanded its service capabilities of online money transfers to UK residents. Despite the debt crisis in Europe and other shocks experienced by the world economy, the company MoneyGram International notes the increase in the money transfer market. MoneyGram's total revenue for the 2nd quarter of 2012 was $ 330.1 million, having been increased on 7% compared to $ 310 million in Q2 2011. As part of the 2008 Recapitalization, our wholly owned subsidiary, MoneyGram Payment Systems Worldwide, Inc., issued Goldman Sachs $500.0 million of senior secured second lien notes with a 10-year maturity. MoneyGram launched a new in-person bill payment service which will be delivered through agents in their domestic network, giving consumers an easy, low-cost method to pay their bills. Commission income on remittances and other revenues of MoneyGram in the 2nd quarter 2012 increased by 10% compared to the same period last year and 13% in the base currency. Millions of families depend on MoneyGram to safely send money home or pay the bills. MoneyGram completed the rollout of simplified pricing for money transfer services in the U.S., an initiative that began last year. In March 2012, the company MoneyGram merged with the network of U.S. payment centers ZipZap.
