Credit unions attract people in the first place by the opportunity to get cash loan (credit) - quickly and relatively inexpensively. Like the credit cooperatives, credit unions form associations of a higher level, which are called corporate credit unions. Specialization of credit unions to provide financial services to its shareholders requires a particularly strict regulation of membership and acceptable activities. Income received by the credit union shall be distributed among the shareholders or spent for the depreciation of services, that is, are the most effective means of meeting the needs of shareholders. Among the U.S. credit unions, there are three groups that differ in terms of assets, shareholders, and business services. Cooperation between credit unions, how they would not have been named, took place always, from the moment when the movement moved outside one credit union.
